There are some conflicting reports among some in the wrestling media regarding Rey Mysterio and his status with WWE. While PWInsider reported earlier today that Mysterio was scheduled to undergo knee surgery, The Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online is reporting that Mysterio was scheduled to work several more months as of a week ago even though he is in need of an operation. The impression most got was that they were already ready to pull him off TV to allow him to get surgery given the way they handled his match with Batista at Survivor Series.
