Today in Los Angeles, California, the full roster was revealed for the upcoming WWE ’13 videogame that is set to be released on October 30th for all major gaming platforms.
The event was hosted by Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross & WWE Champion CM Punk and was shown on IGN.com.
Before the reveal, THQ’s Cory Ledesma & Bryan Williams took part in a interview where they discussed some of the features in WWE ’13. Here are some of the highlights:
Attitude Era Mode will span over 2 years in the Attitude Era. The gamer will play over 60 matches in the mode and have the chance to unlock over 100 items.
The audio in the game, especially the crowd, will have a “night & day” difference, with actual audio from WWE live events.
New features to the game include infinite stored finishers, mid-air finishers, OMG moments (ring breaking & barricade breaking), better hit & collision detection & top rope dives can now be combo’d with a pin.
Stone Cold Steve Austin signed over 25,000 copies of his collector’s edition of WWE ’13.
Ledesma & Williams say that the character models are the best they have ever looked in a WWE videogame.
It takes 100 days to create a wrestler model from scratch.
