New ownership could kill wrestling at ECW Arena

The famed Asylum Arena in Philadelphia (formerly known as The Arena and ECW Arena) may no longer be holding pro wrestling events in the future. New ownership has taken over the facility and the final wrestling events scheduled for January 14 with EVOLVE and CZW events being held on the same day. The arena holds rich history in the Northeast the last two decades when it was first made famous by ECW and continued to be the home for a variety of independent wrestling promotions since ECW closed its doors in 2001.
