Notes from Wrestling Revolution project tapings

Jeff Katz and his Wrestling Revolution project held tapings in Los Angeles at Henson Studios this week. 20 matches were taped on Tuesday in a studio designed to look like a modern day fight club atmosphere.

Everyone that took part in the tapings will be represented as new characters. Katz also stated on Twitter that the project will not be known as Wrestling Revolution and has yet to reveal the new name. Lance Storm and Tommy Dreamer took part in the production of the tapings.

Prince Devitt and former WWE star Shawn “Gavin” Spears were pulled from the tapings (New Japan pulled Devitt, while Spears had Visa issues). Brian Cage and former ROH star Chris Hero replaced the two at the tapings. Hero’s involvement surprised many given his current situation in being close to signing a developmental deal with WWE.
