According to PWInsider Elite, WWE Superstar Matt Riddle’s return is a “developing story.” It was also said that multiple sources have said there has been a creative pitch for Riddle’s return to the company.
PWInsider Elite further noted that as of Thursday evening, Riddle was not in Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39. However, it was emphasized that it does not mean that WWE would not bring him this weekend or for the WrestleMania fallout episode of Raw. PWInsider Elite also had noted the plan is for Riddle to continue to remain on Raw. The report concludes that the same source that had spoke with PWInsider Elite said there had been no discussions about Riddle returning to the company as of just a few days ago.
Riddle has been away from WWE since the December 5, 2022 Raw. On that show, He was written off WWE programming following an attack on Raw by Solo Sikoa. It was then later reported that he Riddle has been suspended by WWE for a second failure of the Wellness Wellness Policy. He then entered rehab. Last December, Riddle commented on his rehab situation and new allegations that involved adult film star Jordan Maxx.
