Former WWE star and UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be making his return to UFC on 12/30 when he takes on former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem. Overeem, who will be making his UFC debut at the event, has not lost a fight since 2007 and was recently cut by now Zuffa-owned Strikeforce after withdrawing from the grand prix tournament due to injury. This will be Lesnar’s first fight since October 2010 when he lost the UFC Heavyweight Championship to Cain Velasquez. Lesnar was slated to return at UFC 131 in June, but was forced to pull out due to his diverticulitis returning.
