Haven’t watched all of Impact yet, but they mentioned that this was the first time that Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle had faced each other. Not true – they were the main event of the third ECW show in June 2006. RVD won after interference from Edge. It was RVD’s last successful title defense as he and Sabu were stopped later in the week and charged with drug possession and he dropped the belt next week. The match took place in Roanoke, VA and I was in attendance.
