NPWS remembers the late Chris Candido

National Pro Wrestling Superstars Remembers Chris Candido

It was six years ago to the day that the pro wrestling industry was rocked with the news that one of its greatest and most beloved performers, the late great Chris Candido, passed away so unexpectedly.

Not a week, or even a day, goes by that his Jersey-based based home promotion National Pro Wrestling Superstars does not miss his always youthful enthusiasm, albeit in the ring or the locker room.

That being said, National Pro Wrestling Superstars will be making an announcement next Saturday night, at their soon-to-be nearly-sold-out Kurt Angle / Carlito spectacular in North Middletown, NJ, the date and location of this year’s annual Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament (the original J-Cup Tournament renamed in Chris’ memory). All we can say right now is that it will be held in a brand new location, with two of Chris’ dearest friends headlining the show.

May God bless the memory of Chris, and may he continue to rest in peace. He will always be in our thoughts.
