The one positive coming out of the preliminary buyrate numbers for WWE’s 2011 Royal Rumble PPV (estimated at 449,000 buys worldwide) is that North American buys were at 264,000 – a jump from 259,000 last year. The declines were outside of North America (185,000 buys as opposed to 206,000 last year).
