WWE Studios’ “The Chaperone” starring Triple H did so little in its only weekend theatrical release that weekend box office charts didn’t even list it, which is the same thing that happened with “Knucklehead” starring Big Show. WWE never expects to make money during the theatrical release and since it is only released in a few markets, the real money is in the DVD release. This is done to position it as something other than a straight-to-DVD release.
