Entertainment Weekly writer Margaret Lyons has an article up looking at the return of WWE “Tough Enough” to the USA Network on April 4 and why the company should bring back former star Al Snow for the series.
“They have to bring back Al Snow. A USA rep says the show is still in its really, really early phases, and that decisions about judges and mentors haven’t been made yet. Snow isn’t with the WWE anymore, so I know it’s a long shot, but still: Snow’s mentorship and training absolutely made that show. (That fourth season doesn’t exist in my world.) He was so strict and serious sometimes, and then so goofy and jovial at other — I’m not a wrestling fan, but he was so compelling that I got completely sucked into the series.”
