Report: Incident at TNA TV tapings with Jeff Hardy

While it hasn’t been picked up by many other wrestling media websites, PWInsider is reporting that at last night’s TNA Impact tapings in Orlando, it was plugged throughout the night that fans could get their picture taken with TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy in the ring after the show for $25. However, after the tapings when it was time for Hardy to come out, he insulted Jeremy Borash on the house mic (who introduced Hardy) and told the fans to take their money and “go buy groceries.” Hardy then left to the back and never returned. This reportedly caught many TNA and Universal Studios employees off guard and after several minutes they began refunding money to the fans. There was said to be quite a few fans, including families, visibly upset about the incident. Whether it was an attempt by Hardy himself to get his heel character over more or if it was a call by TNA remains to be seen.
