“The Big Show Show” has been canceled after only one season.
Deadline is reporting that Netflix opted not to renew “The Big Show Show” for a second season. The show starred “The Big Show” Paul Wight as a retired wrestler and the father of three daughters. The first season had 8 episodes aired.
One last episode has been filmed, a Christmas themed episode, that will air later this year. This is not a series finale and are standalone episodes filmed before the COVID-19 pandemic.
The series was created by Josh Bycel and Jason Berger. Berger took to Twitter to thank the staff, cast, crew, and everyone who watched “The Big Show Show.”
on behalf of the staff, cast, and crew of #thebigshowshow…thank you to everyone who watched either with your fam or alone in your basement. Netflix was a dream to work with AND we had a blast making the show. Rare air! Please take care of each other! 🤘🏼 https://t.co/dBaiehyu1h
