More on Rob Van Dam spending time away from TNA

To follow up on earlier reports regarding Rob Van Dam being scheduled to take some time off from TNA, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that he signed a contract with a specific number of dates for the year and they are already running low on dates. This is the same kind of deal they have with Ric Flair. RVD was not only being booked at all TV tapings and PPV events, but also on the road for house show events. An angle was started on this past Thursday’s edition of Impact to explain RVD’s upcoming absence from television soon. We noted in spoiler reports what the actual plans are.
