Doug Somers, who is well known to wrestling fans during his days in the AWA along with partner Buddy Rose, showed up in Atlanta to the Royal Rumble PPV and was barred from backstage. As reported on last week, WWE banned all non-personnel from the backstage area so word wouldn’t leak out of Edge’s return to the company. The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter reports that Somers was not happy at all about not being allowed backstage.
