Details concerning Smackdown’s move to SyFy

According to a New York Times article, WWE’s deal with SyFy to air Smackdown will be a two year deal with an option for a third year. WWE chief operating officer Donna Goldsmith stated that she did not expect Smackdown to lose viewers because Syfy is a “fully distributed channel, almost equivalent to a broadcast network”.
