WWE is featuring an interview (above) with new WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, along with New Day members Xavier Woods and Big E backstage at WrestleMania.
Kofi was asked for his thoughts moments after capturing the WWE Championship.
An emotional Kingston talked about all of his hard work paying off on Sunday.
“It’s so emotional. Like, (you) work so hard to get here, you know? And sometimes you work as hard as you can and things aren’t going your way, you know? And you don’t know if the hard work is going to pay off. It’s paid off right now. It feels surreal.”
Former WWE star Shad Gaspard shared a video with his reaction to Kofi winning the WWE Champion along with former WWE star MVP last night.
As you can see in the video, both were very emotional about the title win.
