PWInsider is reporting that WWE star Mustafa Ali suffered a concussion and was kept out of the ring at Monday’s Smackdown Live event in Canton as a result.
Ali is scheduled to be evaluated at tonight’s Smackdown Live taping in Toledo, where he was advertised to take part in a gauntlet match.
Fightful first reported that Ali had been battling an injured tailbone injury and then suffered a swollen eye following a match with Randy Orton last week on Smackdown.
His status for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match is likely in doubt, although WWE has yet to officially announce Ali has been pulled as of this writing.
