Velveteen Dream defeated Johnny Gargano to become the new NXT North American Champion at the NXT TV tapings tonight at Full Sail University.
Twitter user @MrJacobCohen is at the tapings and shared photos of the title change, including Gargano attacking Dream after the match and posing with the title.

It was also noted that Gargano had his eyes on Tommaso Ciampa’s NXT Title.

It was also noted by Jacob Cohen that the company did not tape the six man tag team match set for the return of Halftime Heat this Sunday during the Super Bowl. So, it would appear reports that WWE plans to broadcast the match live (potentially from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando) is what they will end up doing.
