WWE star Curtis Axel issued a statement on Twitter commenting on the passing of his grandfather, Larry “The Axe” Hennig”, on Thursday.
Axel said no one had a “bigger impact on my wrestling career than my Papa Axe”, adding that he was one of his biggest supporters since day one.
As reported yesterday, Hennig passed away after a long illness and kidney failure.
