Video: Eric Bischoff gives TEDx Talk about News Media stealing from Pro Wrestling

Former WCW President Eric Bischoff took part in a TEDx Talk (above) in Naperville recently where he talks about the news media borrowing from pro wrestling presentation.

Bischoff presents this idea in the form of a pro wrestling heel promo to the audience and how his words created a reaction of some kind to those in attendance.

He talks in depth about how it is easier for 24/7 cable news networks to present news with “talking heads” instead of delivering the news, something he says applies to both the left and the right current on cable television.

“The next time you’re watching the news and you find yourself getting angry about what you see, that you realize that’s exactly the way they want you to feel. They don’t want you to think. They want you to feel.”
