John Layfield apologizes for “poor choice of words” directed at Cody Rhodes

Former WWE Champion and commentator John Layfield (aka JBL) took to Twitter on Friday to apologize for comments he made on Twitter last night about Cody Rhodes.

The tweets, some of which have been removed, saw Layfield specifically mention Cody and describe him as someone “not in my league” and a “tool.”

Layfield then tweeted out an apology about his “poor choice of words.”
