WWE says Triple H suffered injury during Crown Jewel main event in Saudi Arabia

WWE.com is reporting that Triple H looks to have suffered an injury during Friday’s main event at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia earlier this afternoon.

According to WWE, Triple H looks to have suffered a torn pectoral muscle. The report notes Triple H will be returning to the United States this week to undergo surgery.

The injury, which took place when Triple H teamed with Shawn Michaels against The Undertaker and Kane in a tag team match, looks to have occurred when he was whipped into the corner and took a bump over the ropes early in the match reports F4WOnline.

Despite suffering the injury early on, Triple H was able to continue on with the match and ended up getting the winning pinfall on Kane following a Pedigree. Although not confirmed, it would appear he will be leaving WWE’s European tour a bit early as a result.
