Chris Jericho, the current IWGP Intercontinental Champion, made another surprise appearance at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s King of Pro Wrestling event on Monday.
Jericho attacked Evil during his entrance, appearing to setup his first championship defense. He would later attack Evil inside the ring and reveal himself.

This is Jericho’s first appearance at a New Japan event since June, when he defeated Naito to capture the IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Dominion.
Jericho made a surprise appearance at the ALL IN event in Chicago last month, attacking IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega after his win over Pentagon Jr.
