WWE’s Crown Jewel event now listed for new location on November 2 in Saudi Arabia

The official announcement for WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia on November 2 for the Crown Jewel event is now listing a new location for live event airing on the WWE Network.

Crown Jewel will now take place at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show was originally set for the King Fahd International Stadium.

No word at this time why the venue was changed a few weeks ago. The King Fahd International Stadium held a much larger capacity of over 68,000 seats. King Saud University Stadium only lists a capacity of close to 25,000 seats.

It was confirmed yesterday following the Super Show-Down event that AJ Styles will defend the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan at Crown Jewel. Already announced for the show is Roman Reigns defending the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match.
