The latest episode of NWA’s “Ten Pounds of Gold” (above) gives a behind-the-scenes look at Cody Rhodes taking part in New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed event in Long Beach, California last weekend, which aired live on NJPW World.
The episode features footage of Cody talking with media about defeating Juice Robinson (former NXT star CJ Parker) to become the new IWGP United States Champion.
We reported on Cody’s comments earlier in the week, where he addressed the upcoming NWA 70th Anniversary show and referred to Jeff Jarrett’s GFW as a “disaster.”
