According to a report by PWInsider, those representing Marty “The Boogeyman” Wright in his post-WWE appearances for independent promotions and convention appearances are claiming Wright created the persona and gimmick so he has the full rights to use it outside of WWE. The expectation is that if it isn’t the case then WWE legal will be making that clear very soon once he books more appearances.
