Vince McMahon was said to be against putting Christian in the “Money in the Bank” Ladder match at WrestleMania 25 reports ProWrestling.net. Several agents and creative team members continued to the push the idea and made what was described as a strong pitch to get Christian in the match. Reports have surfaced for weeks now since Christian’s return to WWE that McMahon has never seen him as a true main event player. Despite this sentiment, Christian is said to have many backers in the company and remains tight with Raw’s lead writer Brian Gewirtz among others in creative.
