WWE posted a video featuring William Regal confirming that former NXT Champion Aleister Black will not be able to compete at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 in two weeks.
As reported earlier, WWE did an injury angle with Black to explain his absence from the upcoming special. Black suffered a groin injury at an NXT live event a few weeks ago.
The new main event during SummerSlam weekend will now see Tommaso Ciampa defend the NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano in a Last Man Standing match.
