Fox 13 Memphis, via AJC.com, is featuring an article regarding the passing of Brian “Christohper” Lawler over the weekend at the age of 46.
The article revealed that Jerry “The King” Lawler, Brian’s father, was with Brian during his final moments before he was taken off life support at the hospital. Lawler rushed back to Memphis on Sunday from North Carolina after receiving word about Brian. He added he was “glad to hold his son’s hand when his heart stopped beating around 3:30 pm.”
A visitation and funeral service will be held this Friday at Hope Church on Walnut Grove Road in Memphis. As reported yesterday, an investigation regarding Lawler’s death has already started. Lawler was found hanging in his jail cell and never fully recovered after being rushed to the hospital according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Jerry Lawler provided one comment about the ongoing investigation.
“There may be more to this than meets the eye.”
