Former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion trains at the WWE Performance Center

WWE.com is featuring an article about former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez training this week at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Velasquez also worked out in the Performance Center weight room and attended last night’s NXT TV tapings held at Full Sail University.

The article notes that Velasquez has been a big pro wrestling fan all of his life.

“My experience here has been amazing. I’m just looking forward to being here and learning as much as I can. I’ve been a fan of the sport since I was a little kid, and now I get to participate in it.”

Velasquez has not had a fight in the UFC since 2016 when he defeated Travis Brown at UFC 200. He holds a TKO win over WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 121.
