The official Twitter account for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn just announced that WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is confirmed to appear on August 20.
This is the Monday Night RAW taping following SummerSlam.

Reason for Kane storyline at Extreme Rules
According to a report by PWInsider, WWE did the storyline with Kane being attacked backstage at Extreme Rules because of an actual injury to his left foot.
If you missed it, WWE had The Bludgeon Brothers attack both Kane and Daniel Bryan backstage at Extreme Rules before the Smackdown Tag Team Championships match.
