TNA decided to tone down the Don West heel turn per orders from the top reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. According to reports, the company felt they went too far with it in the beginning and had to get it under control. They went forward with toning down the character at the Destination X PPV and the Impact TV tapings that followed by having West play a subtle heel as the weeks progressed. At this point it isn’t expected to get as much attention as it did earlier.
