PWInsider is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk will be returning to the ring for the first time since his knee replacement surgery for Wisconsin based independent promotion “Heavy on Wrestling” on September 19 in Superior, WI at the Wessman Arena. Funk, who turns 65 this June, will be wrestling Arik Cannon of MTV Wrestling Society X fame. Ric Flair has been announced as the special guest referee of the show which is being sponsored by Highspots.com.
